In the Operation Solutions Central Europe team we are looking for Level 2 Support Engineers to deliver a safe and reliable production Level 2 service at the site(s) in scope (Krefeld, Dillenburg & Terneuzen) and act as trusted partner for business counterparts. Main responsibilities Ensure safety rules and regulations are always followed Device, application, solution and process documentation, standardization and consolidation Lifecycle management of IT service components on own support area Responsible for investigating Level 2 (ISA 95) application issues. Records, clarifies, corrects, prevents, and documents the failure with end users, subcontractors, and other parties Responsible for the maintenance, patching, lifecycle management & minor development task of Level 2 (ISA 95) assets (e.g. Laboratory & coil sample system, Scaling systems, Radiation measurement information system, L2 reporting, Production monitor and others) Responsible for capacity request of Level 2 servers, computers and infrastructure in the production area Responsible that Level 2 (ISA 95) solutions fulfils process demands to achieve goals in terms of Safety, RRR/Yield/Production Quality, Cost of production, Processing times, Environment and Energy Ensure production-oriented IT operation onsite, remote & on call support Act as a link between departments that use services provided or supported by Level 2 IT (ISA 95 model) Includes operational and technical planning, implementation, testing, deployment, control, documentation, training, and responsibility for planning and monitoring budgets in production area, along with business and other parties Leading responsibility or participation in projects Driving in the digitalization development at the production site Set team goals, delegates tasks, oversee day to day operations, planning shift, vacation, budget & forecasting (only functional team lead) Requirements B.Sc. in IS/IT or equivalent industry experience 3-5 years experience in industrial products (HMI, PLC, SCADA, WinCC) and embedded software development Good skill level on Microsoft workstation operating systems, Server (MS + Linux) operating systems and asset management tools Good skill level on Desktop, laptop, server and peripherals hardware Proven proactive skills on continuous improvement Ability to build up trust and respect by good co-operation and communication skills Excellent skills in problem solving Fluent in German (Dutch) & English language, spoken and written We offer you To become an integral part of the evolution of stainless steel in Outokumpu’ s high-level work climate built on motivation, mutual respect, and pride-of-profession To join the ranks of a company that want to see you grow and greatly enjoy/derive great joy from the work you do Clearly defined roles and individual accountability Opportunities for furthering your development and qualifications Hybrid model with a mix of on-site and remote work Work that leaves a sustainable footprint for a better world We promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in Outokumpu.
