We are looking for an experienced Senior Concept Artist to join Brawl Stars to oversee the development and delivery of 2D skin concepts for our characters.As a Senior Concept Artist, you will be at the heart of our art production, working closely with our Art Director and other artists in the team. This role involves planning the skin themes, be it around the release of a new Brawler, events or collaborations. Even though you would be able to design Cosmetics like Skins yourself from time to time, most of the concepts are created by our external artists due to the high amount of content for each update. This means your main job would be to provide them with clear direction and feedback, ensuring the art supports the game's narrative, aesthetics, and gameplay objectives. Be it the games themselves or how we present them to our players – we are passionate about not compromising on quality ever and choosing a long-term approach to make Supercell a truly global games company that will last for many decades to come.ResponsibilitiesLead the concept art development process, from initial sketches to final turnaround.Provide clear, constructive feedback and guidance to external concept artists to maintain and elevate the quality of the concepts.Collaborate with the development team to ensure the concepts are feasible and aligned with the game’s mechanics and story.Manage concept art workflows to meet production timelines and milestones, be it with internal or external stakeholders.Develop and maintain relationships with external artists and studios, ensuring a productive and positive working environment.RequirementsProven experience as a concept artist with a strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of styles and projects.Must be a clear and concise communicator, able to deliver creative feedback and clear actionable guidance to multiple external artists.Strong understanding of composition, color theory, and visual storytelling.Passion for mobile games and a drive to create visually appealing content.Nice to haveKnowledge of 3D workflows is definitely a plus, since a trained eye always facilitates the transition from 2D turnaround to 3D model.
