Our mission is to help the MedTech industry foster medical innovation and improve health care. More concrete we support any kind of organisation (practitioners, startups, SMEs, big companies) in the development and the certification of their medical technologies. In a nutshell: Launched in 2016 by Kyun , Founder and Director, passionate about medical technologies and working in the field for more than 15 years; A (small) team of 15 people (24-52 years old) always ready to help each other (and play table football); 6 managers leading the team but also working on the projects: Aurore, Isabelle, Arnaud, Laurent, Hervé and Kyun; 40+ projects in parallel every month; 150+ clients in BeNeLux, France, USA, Japan, Finland, … In order to answer the constantly growing demand from current and future clients, we are looking for Project Engineers to reinforce our team. The job is located in Brussels or Liège for an open-ended period, to be filled immediately.  Ready ? Practically, what will you do? Your mission will be to: Support the development team in the design and prototyping of new products; Manage tests campaigns; Prepare technical documentation for notified bodies, FDA, competent authorities; Coordinate projects for our clients; Support the QA/RA team in the set up of quality management systems and regulatory watch. How ? We perform projects for our clients in our office in Brussels and in Liège. We go to our clients' premises for kick-off and follow-up meetings and for audits. Some clients want to see us once a week, others are located at thousands km from Brussels and only see us on Teams. This means that we spend most of our time at the office, together with the team.  What about the team ? Our members are gathered in two teams : the Development team and the Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs (QA/RA) team. The Project Engineer can be part of both teams, depending on the on-going projects. As such, it guarantees a great overview of different types of projects and nature of activities. Examples of projects: Design and development of interventional cardiology therapy platform and realization of in vivo testing; Establishment of development plans for software with therapeutic purposes; Support for competent authority inspection at our client; Process validation for cleaning and packaging; Preparation of technical document for CE mark and FDA clearance. In order to be ready for this new adventure, you will need:  A background or education in medical devices or IVD design and development; Good acquaintances with the medtech regulatory framework in EU and US; Strong organization skills to be able to run multiple projects in parallel and switch from one to another rapidly; To speak French/Dutch and English to communicate with our clients and our cosmopolitan team; To make clients' satisfaction a priority by combining quality and professionalism; Driving license. You will become more and more autonomous, take the lead on your projects and coordinate team work. You have got a proven experience? But what if you want to develop your skills and grow within COVARTIM? Once a year you will define your goals with your manager. It will be a good opportunity to discuss your expectations and needs in terms of responsabilities and training as well as your salary. After 6 months your manager will make sure that you are on the right track   to achieve your targets and that your expectations have not changed. Based on the level of your autonomy, your control and your skills you will have the chance to grow within your team and/or the company itself; get more responsabilities in people management or become an internal reference on a specific technical topic (we call them our Yoda's). Homeworking We know that homeworking is a must nowadays. However when several people work on the same project the office remains the best option for interactions, ideas and pieces of advice sharing. Same for the coaching which is essential during the first months.  Once you have become more autonomous you will apply for one or two days per week at home. Our offer Salary range and other benefits: Based on your skills and seniority, you can expect a monthly gross salary within 2.800 euros and 5.500 euros. In addition you will get meal vouchers (8 euros/day), a supplemental health insurance (DKV Belgium) and a complementary pension. Public transport costs are fully covered and you will get compensated for the usage of your own car. In addition to 20 legal days off, you will get 2 extra days and up to 5 seniority days.
