We’d love to hear from you There’s a few things that make our Security team at Wolt quite unique:️We’re a cross-disciplinary team which makes us strong: looking after not only security but also privacy and physical security and safety️ We work across the whole company, not buried under an organizational silo️ We’re a truly Cloud Native, Zero Trust and DevOps company - so much so that we don’t usually even care about those buzzwordsThe Wolt Security team is distributed across many locations in Finland, Sweden and Germany. We are looking to fill the role either as a remote role in Finland or Sweden, or as office-based/hybrid role at our office locations in Helsinki or Stockholm.In this role you’ll get to:Improve our cloud infrastructure security (Kubernetes on top of AWS). At least initially, we expect most focus to be on the core AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes and IAMSolve security-related questions and implement requests related to our cloud servicesGuide our engineering teams in aspects of our cloud infrastructure, especially on security, privacy and technical complianceOver time, your role can evolve depending on your interests and skills. Wolt is a large place and there’s a lot to do!This position is ideal for someone who would describe themselves as a cloud sysadmin, having an SRE role, or being a DevOps engineer. You are likely to have at least 3 years of full-time experience working in information technology.QualificationsHave hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform. This is a “must” requirementAre quick to learn nuances in a wide variety of additional services that relate to running and deploying workloads on the infrastructure cloudAre comfortable with Linux, to the level of essential systems administration on the command lineAre comfortable scripting your way through boring stuff, for example, in Python or bashHave a strong work ethic, are organized and follow things throughCan communicate clearly and provide good visibility to issues as they progressCan see through issues that have many aspects and different - often also non-technical and business-related - considerationsCan collaborate well with developersAre not scared of submitting and reviewing Pull RequestsAnd as Wolt’s company language is English, you’d need to be fluent in both spoken and written EnglishAdditional InformationThe position will be filled as soon as we find the right person, so make sure to apply as soon as you realize you really, really want to join us!The compensation will be a combination of monthly pay and DoorDash RSUs.
