With 12 700 employees, including 2800 nurses and 900 physicians, it is the biggest employer in North Savo, providing social and healthcare services from primary health care to specialized medical care for more than 248,000 inhabitants. Together with the Kuopio University Hospitals' specialized medical care services, the country serves nearly a million inhabitants in Eastern Finland.As a doctor, you will work as an expert in your own field in a multiprofessional working group. Working as a medical doctor in Iisalmi and Pielavesi includes both urgent and non-urgent reception work, as well as work as a school and nursery doctor. The emergency reception is also available in the evenings and on weekends, so there are opportunities for evening and weekend work.In Varkaus, the work is very similar to both previous locations, but does not include evening nor weekend work. A medical doctors' role in North Savo primary healthcare services involves self-management, clear independent responsibility areas and a comprehensive work approach.Wellbeing Services County of North Savo in Finland is seeking to recruit 6 skillful and dedicated medical doctors to full-time permanent positions.
